Chen Kentaro - 2 star michelin chef

As a third generation chef and restauranteur, Chen Kentaro is the owner and Executive Chef of Shisen Hanten Singapore and Japan. Under the guidance of Chen Kentaro, Shisen Hanten Singapore has been awarded 2 Michelin Stars to be the highest Michelin Starred Chinese restaurant in Singapore.

Chen Kentaro is the son of world famous Iron Chef Chen Kenichi. Chen Kentaro followed in his father’s footsteps and picked up the tools of the trade through observing his father in the kitchen and learning by experience.


James ho - Corporate EXECUTIVE CHEF of ruyi group, malaysia

Born in Malaysia, Chef James has worked in award-winning Asian restaurants throughout Southeast Asia over the past decade. He has headed Jade at Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Breeze in Bangkok and currently Ruyi & Yu in Kuala Lumpur.

James continues to push the culinary envelope with creativity and modernity on every plate, with much of his spare time spent finding ways to elevate traditional Chinese cuisine favourites into artistically beautiful and photogenic food creations. James has been awarded King of Kitchens and Asian Master Chef by The Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards.

With 31 years of experience under his belt, Chef Justin has headed the kitchens of many reputable restaurants including the six-star Tower Club in Singapore. In 2000, he co-founded the Oriental Group.

Chef Justin has created more than 500 recipes during his illustrious career and has won many awards in various competitions, including the prestigious title of World International Top Chinese Chef and Best Chinese Chef and most recently, King of Kitchens and Master Chef (Asian) at The Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards.

With over 21 years of culinary experience, Karloong started his illustrious career and trained at the Mandarin Oriental, Hilton and Westin Hotels. Following this Karloong worked at the Mahagony Room and as Assistant Chef De Cuisine at Silks Restaurant at Crown Casino before moving to Fujian, China as the Executive Chef of the Marco Polo Jin Jiang Hotel.

Karloong is a firm believer in showcasing the flavours of the ingredients he uses in his dishes to create simple and beautiful tasting dishes.
